  • 14:25, 2 February 2024 162.231.24.243 talk posted a new comment on P580 (Amazon carrying P579 for HatDrive Top mount. No P580 offering on Amazon. Ordering X1002 would have liked to get the P580 as well. 10-18 days shipping from geekworm.com - unfavorable. Too much time passing means crushed or mangled product on delivery, if no delay. Rocky, aka anonymous #3)
  • 14:03, 2 February 2024 162.231.24.243 talk posted a new comment on P580 (Amazing similarity between this and very recently assemblage of Orange Pi 5+, with Active Heatsink and, Case. It's case ID is N580. Assembly of this case with X1002 NVMe Board will be a relief, from that struggle.)
  • 13:06, 2 February 2024 104.28.48.215 talk posted a new comment on P394 (Total crap. The 2nd layer is supposed to be sized to let the Raspberry Pi 5 board to fix inside it. It’s too narrow. I would have to file it larger in order to use this.) Tags: Mobile web edit, Mobile edit

  • 04:04, 2 February 2024 154.56.240.46 talk posted a new comment on X1002 (Whoops. Replied to wrong post. But in answer to your question...Yes, the X1002 supports 3.0, though Pi doesn't officially support more than 2.0. Its a matter of trying your SSD at 3.0 and seeing if its stable. Personally, I wouldn't risk it.)

I see now that it has a Phison E21T controller, along with almost every other SSD I can find. I'll try the Lexar Play 1TB the other commenter successfully used.)

  • 00:29, 31 January 2024 71.237.126.49 talk posted a new comment on Raspberry Pi 5 Model B (Your site does not allow me to register. I am reporting POSITIVE information/news. I have purchased an rpi5, your nvme shield X1000 v1.5, AND a Sabrent Rocket Nano NVME PCIe Gen3x4 M2 2242 SSD (512 GB). It uses a PHISON PS5013 E13 NVME controller (rev 01). IT WORKS GREAT using dtparam=pci_ex1 (have not tried speeding it up). Hope this info is useful for your database. I noted that you had problems with Phison controllers in the past. Regards, Rick rstiphout@live.com)
